I was pleasantly surprised how well the book displayed beautiful descriptions of the city while only being around 45 pages long. It had a grim, dark feel with a hint of beauty. The words seemed to hop right off the page painting the busy city streets, the docks, and the cramped buildings for me to walk around. Her first release, “Dawnsong”, is now available with much more to come for lovers of epic fantasy, mercenaries, monsters, madness, and generalized mayhem.
She lives with her husband and animal furries in the Blue Ridge Mountains where she juggles a day job, the writerly nightlife, and an intense study to become fluent in K-dramas (that counts as bilingual, right?). She is also a medieval history consultant, general neat freak and sinner saved by grace. After graduating from university in the course of study that required the least amount of term papers (accounting), Bryn went to work in the publishing industry (nonfiction).Ĭurrently, she is the director of an internationally recognized company in VA.
